Meet Our Does
Get to know the Leading Ladies of Meander Mountain Farm!
Urban Acres CRF-BI Isolda (EX 90)
Isolda may look like a goat, but she is actually a MILK COW! Isolda is my favorite goat on the entire farm and was given to me by Rebecca to bring out of retirement for the 2024 breeding season! Believe it or not, I learned how to hand-milk on Isolda in 2018, so she is credited for helping me fall in love with dairy goats. I cannot wait to get her on 305 milk test and show the world what she can accomplish! She has the personality of an angel, and is attached at my hip 24/7. All of her kids will be either retained or offered by Private Treaty from now until the end of time. If you'd like some of her genetics in your herd, check out her daughter, PaxsonKdz LB Drops Of Cocoa, who is bred to Hidden Hills Chase The Legend *B this year!
Wolfivan Tahitian Pearl (VEEE 90 @ 3yr)
From Wolfivan Ranch: "This is a star studded pedigree, packed with National champions! Pearl is out of Castle Rock Tahitian Treasure. Treasure's dam is a beautiful, champion doe whom I had the pleasure of watching become the 2019 National Champion as well as National Best Udder. Here's what her breeder says about her...Tahiti has the incredible general appearance we have come to expect from Cleveland Sage daughters, along with tons of dairy character, a wonderful escutcheon arch, very good capacity, and texture. Treasure's Maternal Grand Sire was awarded 2019 National Get of Sire.
Treasure's Sire is out of the beautiful SGCH Wood Bridge Farm Hocus Pocus. Hokey Pokeys's littermate sister is the 2021 ADGA National Reserve Champion and his sire is Old Mountain Farm Cyrus Quinn, the sire of the 2021 ADGA National Champion and 2016 ADGA Jr. Champion, and recognized as the 2nd place get of sire at the ADGA nationals in 2017 and premier get of sire in 2018.
Pearl's sire, Wolfivan Jack of Diamonds is equally as impressive. Jack is sired by Agape's Prize Saint Dismus, son of the 2017 ADGA National Champion, SGCH Old Mountain Farm Merriment and sired by Old Mountain Farm Cyrus Quinn who is the sire of the 2021 ADGA National Champion AND the 2016 ADGA Jr. Champion. He was recognized as the 2nd place get of sire at the ADGA Nationals in 2017 and Premier Get of Sire in 2018. Jack's dam is Wolfivan WP Patchouli, daughter of SGCH Joyful Hearts KR Phoebe VEEE91 and Wood Bridge Farm Promisclasact."
Hidden Hills V Sally's Sister 7*M (VEEE 90 @ 3yrs 3ms) (Sissy)
From Hidden Hills:
Sally's Sister is the spitting image of her Sire in female form. She has the most attractive feminine head. Just weeks into her first freshening it was apparent she had an udder that would be a thrill to watch mature. Her udder has super soft texture and the largest orifices I have in my herd, it literally takes less than a minute to milk her completely out.
Her Dam is heavily line bred on SGCH AGS Rosasharn's UMT Tupelo Honey 4*M (EEEE 91). Tupelo Honey has definitely made her mark on the Nigerian breed. She earned her Grand Champion Status as a three-year-old and followed it up with 3 Best Doe in Show awards and 11 Best of Breeds. Tupelo Honey has produced 4 Champion daughters and 2 Champion sons! Her daughters include SGCH Algedi Farm DJ Honey Dew (EEEE 91), GCH Algedi Farm DJ Splash O' Honey (VVEE 90) and CH Algedi Farm DJ Tawari Honey (VEEE 90). Her sons include: GCH Algedi Farm DJ Drops Of Honey +*B, GCH Algedi Farm Smokin' Hot Honey +*B (VEE 89), Algedi Farm MB Honeymoon Bay ++*B and SG Algedi Farm MB Manuka Honey ++*B (VVE 88)
Sissy's Sire, Wood Bridge Farm Valedictorian stands just 20" tall! He is extremely correct and proportionate, balancing width and depth throughout. He possesses great dairy strength, refinement, flatness of bone, open ribbing and loose skin. He stands on good feet and legs with strong pasterns. Valedictorian's Dam was the 2014 ADGA National Junior Champion and his Paternal Grand Dam is the only two-time winning ADGA National Nigerian Grand Champion and Best Udder both years as well. And as if all those impressive accolades were not enough...Val's Littermate sister is the highest selling Colorama kid in ADGA history. Wood Bridge Farm Spelling Bee sold for $16,100 in 2016 and then went on to win her two-year-old class at the 2018 ADGA Nationals! Both on paper and in person, this guy is the total package!
Urban Acres UAH Sky Fall
Sky broke her leg as an 8 week old doeling and cannot be shown. Her dam, Oreo used to live with us at Rebecca's farm, which is how I got my beautiful doe, Sky. Actually, she was my birthday present from Rebecca in January, 2020! Oreo now resides back in Washington with Jena at Urban Acres. We are honored to have her daughter, Sky, in our herd.
Sonview Ranch Rozann (Rozy)
Here's what Teri at Sonview Ranch had to say about Rozy's Dam, Lamia:
"GCH Sonview Ranch Lamia 9*M VEEE 90 (04-03) (pending ADGA) is a doe to watch as she just keeps getting better each year. She did very well in the show ring in 2022, winning large classes at multiple shows over fantastic competition. She was Reserve Champion under Dustin Noble at the prestigious REDGA show at our first show of 2023 and at our last show of 2023, Lamia was chosen Champion by Jennifer Bice! Despite our show schedule, Lamia milked over 1000 lb in 2023. She started 2024 off great when she won her very first class and was then awarded Best Udder of Breed. At the next show, the prestigious REGA Show, Lamia was named Champion, which should finish her permanent Championship (pending ADGA updating & inputting milk and show records)"
Hidden Hills Jane Doe -
Leased to Meander Mountain Farm for the 2024-2026 Season
Courtesy of Hidden Hills Nigerian Dairy Goats -
Kids will carry the Hidden Hills Herd Name
Hidden Hills Jane Doe has joined our farm for the 2024-2026 season! We are so happy to have her here. Thanks to Jennifer at Hidden Hills and Terri at Slidewater Ranch for this wonderful opportunity!
PaxsonKdz LB Cocoa (Pending ADGA)
Coco is the last kid born under the PaxsonKdz herd name, and that in itself means a great deal to me. Her dam is Isolda, my favorite milk cow, and her sire is my Pride & Joy, PaxsonKdz TS Lightning Bolt. She is bred to Hidden Hills Chase the Legend *B this year, courtesy of Hidden Hills, and we are crossing our fingers for some sweet, healthy doelings out of this pair. We have one doeling reservation left available, but plan to retain a doeling from Coco x Chase this year.
Alethia T Almaaz
Almaaz, or Llama as we call her, was my first 2024 doeling purchase when I decided to get into ADGA and the show world in 2024. She came from Alethia, a herd that I admire and a foundation herd in our program. When I was searching for the perfect doelings to add to our show string, I knew I wanted to keep the foundation Rebecca had built very present within our genetics, so this was the perfect girl for me! Her dam is a Honeymoon Bay x Capella daughter - both beautiful and respected goats in the Nigerian world that have proven their value time and time again. Llama's littermate sister is owned by Alethia and Siena and I showed the girls together for their (and my) first time in April at the Paso Show! Llama made me so proud, placing 8th in a class of over 40 in a very competitive CA show. Catch us at all of the California shows this year!
Lazy Mare Egyptian Clover
Clover was an exciting addition to our herd! Presley at Lazy Mare Ranch reached out to me asking if I'd like to add Clover to my show string, and I was so honored! Upon seeing photos of Clover and seeing her star-studded pedigree, I quickly said YES. Clover is one of the sweetest little goats I've ever met. She loves to give kisses and would still take a bottle if I let her. She is happiest attached to you or in your lap! Clover is a small girl still, so I cannot wait to see her grow and mature. She already boasts an impressive front end, level top line, straight legs, and wide ribs. I love the udders in her lines and am impatient to see her freshen for the first time in 2026!
Hidden Hills Plain Ol Jane
Plain Jane is a DREAM DOELING for me to own. She is out of Hidden Hills Jane Doe, who is here at our farm on lease for this season! Jane was bred to Wolfivan Remington, owned by Slidewater Ranch, and Jennifer was kind enough to allow me to retain the only doeling Jane Doe blessed us with this season!! Plain Jane is also a Wolfivan Natty Dread & Wolfivan One Love Niece, as Wolfivan Remington is their littermate sibling! Natty just joined our herd, which makes PJ's addition that much more special to me. PJ is also a granddaughter of Hidden Hills V Sally's Sister 7*M VEEE90, who we just purchased from Hidden Hills!
Plain Jane is WIDE as a freight train and level as a table. She impressed me the moment she was born, and I could not be more proud to be her mama and have her in my herd and show string. I am so incredibly honored for the opportunity to have Jane here and to keep this perfect doeling out of Jane and Remi. Thank you, Teri and Jennifer!!!
